Great for baking crusty bread !
I sent this to my aunt and uncle,Ruth & Hal, so that I could bake bread in the style used in the recipe in the NY Times by the Sullivan Street Bakery when I visited them. This seasoned cast iron chicken fryer with lid is great for baking crusty bread. I use the basket and pu the dough on a well floured flat tight woven kitchen towel in it to rise 2-3 hrs. It works great!
